Nah, I dont have the hex codes, I just played around in PS and put that pallate together, so your hex codes work just fine <3

Okay, I started plugging in those colors to see what y'all think-- but we can always adjust whatever don't work. Already I'm thinking I might play with the text color and make it a wee bit lighter.
You'll probably have to set your theme to VOODOO MOON in order to see the changes <3

I dunno if you like that background picture or not Chyna? I plugged it into your voodoo moon skin just to see what it looks like.
Love the colors so far and the banner.

Jo, I -love- it. It is so amazing XD And thank you I'm really digging the colors too so far, and yeah, the banner is really a WIP but I like it so far too. Rissa mentioned a 'swampy feeling' and so I started hunting down images for inspiration, and found that branchy detail (on the banner) and sorta rolled with it. I personally like mixing realistic with non-realistic and think if Rissa liked it so far we could do all kinda of ravens around the forum and I found this: that I could use and make an animated acceptance graphic

cool.... if you have some of the ravens and branches you are using.... We might be able to weave some into the background picture possibly make it blend in even more with the theme.
Also, somoe of the colors might need to be adjusted, like the "link" text colors. They blend in with the background in some places.

Do the links still blend? I played with it some, but I'm not really sure which ones are blending. Also, can I get the size you are using for the test headers? I have this cool idea, but I'm not sure how it will look... )

Yeah, the links are better in some of the places I noticed.... If I find it somewhere else I'll let you know.
The test category and header/base images are 700 px wide.

Cool, thanks Jo. XD I'm gon' work on the forum graphic banners and the sidebar images so y'all can get an idea of what I have in mind and see what you think. One thing though, I'm not sure I really like the test category graphics. We usually dont use a secondary graphic. I think I like them plain. I'll play with it to see tho. I usually prefer just one graphic, but also, Rissa will probably want to give her two cents

The category banners are what you usually use.... Like this: is one of your category graphics. The header/base images are probably what you don't alway use, but I put them in so we could have the contrasting colored strip.... but they can be plain without words or graqphics on them.... and we can also only have the header without the base or the base without the header.

the header/base images can also be shorter too.... like right now they are 700px x 30px but they could be 700px x 25 or 20 or 10 or whatever.
Just to put that pop of color in there.

shorter I mean by top to bottom wise.... not from side to side width. That needs to stay at like 700px.

I think I like the graphic on top and the plain strip underneath, but maybe we can use the strip underneath to simply state what the forum is...for instance. (and this is just a quick whip up) The graphic on top: i53.tinypic.com/5a2kie.jpgAnd then the plain strip would just say like: Out of Character

yeah, that would work.... have that dark graphic with the branches on the top.... then the light graphic with the category name like Out of Character and then just a plain dark graphic strip with no words or images on it at all.

Just as long as they are 700px in width.... and I'm not sure what fonts your using or what you'd want to use for the one that has the category name "Out of Character" or whatever.
